 Thoughts

A lot better than most of the assignments we've had this semester, very collaborative, and got a lot of hands-on working. Screen-printing was interesting to work with, and the people in my group definitely could work together again. I appreciated that this project pushed us to actually apply what we’ve been learning instead of just writing about it. It felt refreshing to create something physical rather than submitting another digital assignment. The collaboration also helped us exchange ideas more naturally, which made the final outcome stronger. Everyone contributed in a meaningful way, and it never felt like one person was carrying the whole group. I also learned more by watching how others approached the process differently. It made me realize how many small techniques and details go into screen-printing that you can’t fully understand until you try it. Overall, the assignment felt practical, engaging, and rewarding. I’d definitely enjoy doing something similar again, especially with the same group.

I would really like to do another project like this but format it how the class had it, where everyone worked as groups but everyone communicated with each other. It created a sense of community that we don’t always get in our other assignments. Even though we were separated into smaller teams, it still felt like the whole class was working toward a shared goal. I think that structure helped everyone stay more motivated and engaged. It also made the room feel more energetic, since people were constantly checking in, offering suggestions, and comparing progress. Having that kind of open communication made the work feel less stressful and more enjoyable. It also pushed us to problem-solve creatively because different groups could share what was or wasn’t working. If we did another project like this, I think the overall quality would be even better since we now know how beneficial that collaboration can be. I really hope we have more opportunities to work in this format because it honestly made the class feel more connected and productive.
